Michael Peck
Today, we celebrate Michael Peck, a graduating senior from Butte Central Catholic High School — and one of OGCT’s most dedicated and recognizable performers.
Michael first appeared on the Orphan Girl stage back in A Charlie Brown Christmas in 2015, and since then, he has performed in a staggering 38 productions. He’s played everything from a dancing chimney sweep to Santa Claus, Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Sven in Frozen Jr., but it was this year’s Beauty and the Beast Jr. that stood out as his all-time favorite. His performance as Gaston was larger-than-life, funny, and full of flair — a role that let him flex both his comedic timing and powerful stage presence. “No one’s slick as Gaston, no one’s quick as Gaston…” — well, no one committed to a role quite like Michael.
Michael has done it all: acting, singing, building sets, running lights, and mentoring younger cast members. He has shown leadership, kindness, and professionalism beyond his years. Whether it was sharing a quiet pep talk backstage or lifting the energy of a tired cast with a joke or song, Michael showed up. Every time.
After graduation, he’ll attend Carroll College, where he plans to study Theater Arts and Business while also playing football. That balance — artistry and athleticism — has always defined Michael. And while Carroll’s stage will be lucky to have him, OGCT will always be where his story began.

Hope Noonan
Today, we celebrate Hope Noonan, a graduating senior from Butte High School whose time at OGCT may have been brief, but whose impact was undeniable.
Hope’s journey with Orphan Girl began with Clue in 2023. From the start, she embraced every moment — bringing focus, dedication, and joy to each rehearsal and performance. She followed that with TEN24 and The NeverEnding Story, which quickly became her favorite. That show’s timeless message — of courage, imagination, and the power of storytelling — felt like a perfect match for Hope’s own heart and presence. In a story where “fantasy and reality meet,” Hope helped build a bridge that the audience walked across with wonder.
She plans to attend Montana Tech after graduation, exploring her future while staying connected to the community that helped her shine. And no matter where life takes her, OGCT will always welcome her back — not just as a performer, but as part of our growing community theater.
-
Laurena Barbosa
Today we celebrate Laurena, a graduating senior from Butte High School who has been part of the OGCT family since 2015. Her very first show was The Wizard of Oz, and she’s since been involved in several productions that have showcased her dedication and quiet brilliance.
Laurena’s favorite OGCT show was Matilda — a musical about bold kids changing their stories. It’s a perfect match, as Laurena has always brought grace and strength to her time on stage.
She’ll be heading to Washington State University this fall, where she plans to study Fashion Design and Theater Costuming. While we’ll miss her creative eye and kindness, we know her next stage will be just as inspiring.
-
Frankie Marquez
Today we celebrate Frankie Marquez, a graduating senior from Butte High School whose bright energy and fearless presence have enriched OGCT over the past three years.
Frankie’s first show with us was Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, and she’s since participated in six productions, each one showcasing her range, commitment, and joyful spirit. Her favorite? Beauty and the Beast — and it’s easy to see why. From the lively songs to the rich characters, Frankie found a world where she could shine.
Frankie is headed to Montana State University (MSU), and though we’ll miss her deeply, we know she’s off to build something bold and wonderful.
-
Essynce Nixon
oday, we celebrate Essynce Nixon, a graduating senior from Butte High School who has graced our stage in 12 productions over the past five years.
Essynce began her journey with us in Bitterroot, and from the very first moment, she brought curiosity, energy, and sincerity to every role. Her favorite shows — Grease and Something Rotten! — show her love of big music, fun characters, and stories with spirit. Whether she was singing with a smile or dancing with purpose, Essynce made every show brighter.
She’ll be heading to the University of Montana to study secondary education in drama — and it’s no surprise. Essynce is a natural leader with a gift for connecting through theater. The world is lucky to have her on the path to teaching.
-
Claudiya Rosencrans
Today, we celebrate Claudiya Rosencrans, a graduating senior from Butte High School — though most of you may know her as Percy.
Claudiya has been part of OGCT since she was 8 years old, inspired by her older sister and eager to join the theater the moment she was old enough. Since then, she’s taken part in nearly 30 productions — each one adding to her artistry, confidence, and connection to the theater.
Her favorite shows? PUFFS and Something Rotten! — two plays filled with heart, humor, and (of course) some epic dancing. “Third or nothing!” the PUFFS might say, but Claudiya’s commitment and energy placed her far above that. And in Something Rotten!, she stepped into the chaos and comedy with unforgettable flair.
Claudiya plans to take a break after graduation and may pursue performing arts school. Whatever path she takes, the Orphan Girl will always be cheering her on.

Charli Cox
As we prepare to celebrate the remarkable seniors who have graced our stage, we shine a spotlight on Charli Cox, a graduating senior from Butte High School.
Charli first stepped into the world of OGCT with A Charlie Brown Christmas and quickly made her mark. Over 12 productions, she brought light, strength, and commitment to every role — but it was Mary Poppins that captured her heart the most. “Anything can happen if you let it,” Mary sings — and Charli took that message to heart, reminding us all that belief and imagination are powerful forces.
She plans to take her talents and spirit to Chicago after graduation, and while the Windy City will gain one incredible artist, we’ll miss the presence of someone who always brought both poise and joy to our stage.
